Manage devices remotely on the platform

  • Go to the XR Platform.

Note

Make sure you have the Coordinator or administrator role. You can change roles by clicking on them and switch to another one in the list.

Update applications

  • Go to Devices and search the device or device group you want to update.

  • You can update the Supportsquare app manager and other apps if you press the arrow icon. The device will update when online and connected to wifi.

  • When you press update, the orange download icon will stay until the app is updated. If the device is turned off or not connected to the internet, it will start updating when turned on and connected.

Install new applications

  • Go to Devices and search the device you want to update.

  • Use the Install button.

  • Add available applications from the list you want to install on this device.

  • The new app will appear under Installed applications with a blue download icon. It should start downloading and installing when the device is turned on and connected.

Change the device subscription

  • On the device you can change the active subscription.

Manage the device using the Supportsquare app manager

You can also use the app manager on the device to update or install applications your platform has access to.

  • Open the Supportsquare app manager on your device.

  • You can find the app manager in the app library (Pico devices) or Unknown Sources (Meta Quest devices)

  • Use the update buttons to update the device. Make sure your device is connected to wifi.
