If you want to create VR Lessons, start and stop sessions from your PC and watch the streams, you can use XR Instructor.

How to start using XR Instructor?

  • Go to the XR Platform

  • Press 'Launch XR Instructor'.

  • Press New VR Lesson.

  • Choose a name for the VR Lesson.

  • Choose a date, starting time and duration.

  • Add a group of trainees. The group has to be created first by an administrator or coordinator.

  • Add lesson content. In the right panel you can see the duration, description and objectives of the lesson content. A designer can change this.

  • Press the Create button.

  • The lesson should now appear on the day you planned it.

  • Press your VR lesson.

- Use the + Icon to add VR devices.

  • Select the VR devices you want to use.

  • If you see a red dot, the device is not online or connected to the internet.

  • When all devices are connected, press the play button if you want to start the lesson content at the same time.

  • Choose the lesson content you want to start.

  • All VR devices will start playing the chosen lesson part.

  • Keep track of the progress, time and battery level of the device.

  • Press a device screen to get more information.

  • In the upper right corner you can see battery levels of the controllers, headset and the connected wifi network.

  • After a session you can change the listed person on the device.

  • Use the stop and play icon next to the lesson content to manage the device.

  • Even if there is no lesson content playing, you can watch the stream of the device. This could be used to help out with the play boundary for instance.

How to plan an explore session?

If you wish to stream your Explore Workplace and to be able to start and stop the experience from your laptop you can use XR Instructor.   Watch this video for a more detailed demonstration: Dutch version English version

  • Use the Instructor link as provided:   https://[CompanyName].passerelle.supportsquare.io/instructor/

  • Use ‘New VR Lesson’.

  • Choose a name for the event.

  • Choose a date, starting time and duration.

  • Search your Explore Workplace in ‘Lesson content’. To be able to choose this, please contact us first.

  • Use the ‘play’ button to start the workplace remote and start streaming.
