Customize your Avatar

When you join a session in the Explore you need to identify yourself in a unique way. For that we have an avatar system where you can customize the look of yourself according to your liking. Pick your clothes and accessory's, glow up and make it your own!

1. The avatar Screen

Note

Current Avatars are locally saved only. This means we only remember them on the devices you use. They are not yet linked to an account or identification.

When you start the Explore application you find yourself in the Start scene. In front of you is the main login screen, the "join hub" button and to the right the Avatar Creator screen. It is that screen we will focus on.

These are the main elements that are on the start screen of the avatar creator:

  1. Name
  2. Welcome text
  3. Visual presentation of how you will look in-game (we select a default preset when you're not using a custom avatar)
  4. Select Avatar button (If you've not yet created avatars this will be empty)
  5. Select Preset button
  6. Create Avatar button

2. Use a Preset

We provide a small list of ready made presets that you can pick from if you need to talk about creating preset

3. Create an Avatar

With this customizer you can create your own unique avatar. go through the facial-, head-,face- and outfit options. When done you can submit the avatar and we will save the avatar (currently locally on the device).
